FInally, the best aspect is the one-time purchase rather than rental/membership. Also I appreciate that there are forums out there of other users, so if I have a question/problem I can usually find an answer/work-around. I'm not an expert in design, but this app enables me to learn as I go. I use this app every day and enjoy creating graphics using Pixelmator Pro. I can do (just about) anything graphic with Pixelmator Pro and it seems more intuitive than Photoshop. I still would like to figure out how to do some filters, but I know there are many more features awaiting my learning them in Pixelmator Pro. It enables web designers to build and preview gradients, adjustments, effects, transformations and curve edits in real-time. I learned a new one just yesterday as I had need-by finding the answer in a forum and applying that. Affinity Designer is a graphic designing and UX solution that helps businesses create concept art, logos, icons, UI designs, print projects and mock-ups, among other illustrations. There are many features in Pixelmator Pro that I do not yet use. I create book covers and detailed banners/graphics/ promotional materials for both our church and for my business using Pixelmator Pro. I purchased Pixelmator some time ago, but much prefer Affinity Photo. I do almost all my graphics on PIxelmator Pro, thought I do use Canva for quicker cut/paste creations and final rendering. What I can do for you is muddy the waters a bot - I got the email from them a couple of days ago - the Pro app is discounted from 60 to 30 'for a limited time', I think theres a thread in one of the MR News forums about this. ![]()
